Straddling the space between the physical and online, Agnes Contemporary is neither a commercial art gallery nor an artist-run initiative. Instead, the art remains in the artist’s control.

It’s a space for art to be experienced and seen. Adaptable as it morphs into different variations, in a constant state of flux, flow, and movement with the changing whims of artists, collectors, and the art market. Our artists have the freedom to create, experiment, and focus on studio practice and evolution; without the binding agreements of traditional galleries.

Neither static nor digital, we transcend the realms that you may usually witness art. We’ll surprise and inspire in ethereal spaces; from a heritage church-turned-restaurant to an abandoned bank in regional NSW (BYO chair).
